WHY RVpaws?
A Substantial Upgrade
Many RV owners are running into issues with their factory installed foot pads bending or becoming deformed. There are two major reasons for this:
- The foot pads are bolted rigidly to the hydraulic ram with no ability to adjust to the contours of the ground.
- The foot pad is simply too thin (1/8") to support the weight of an RV, causing them to deform - usually into a bowl shape.
RVpaws (Patent No. 12202449) are designed to overcome both of these issues.
- RVpaws V2 includes our new innovative mounting ankle which allows the foot to articulate to meet the contours of the ground. This means that there are fewer stresses on the hydraulic ram - in fact, the only force it has to deal with is the one it was designed for and that is straight down!
- Our unique safety feature detaches the foot pad to help protect your hydraulics and chassis should you inadvertently lower the foot onto an obstacle such as a curb.
- Each RVpaws foot pad is laser cut from 1/4" plate steel. The addition of 6 weight distributing gussets ensures that not even the heaviest of RVs will deform it. Period!
- Our oversized foot pad distributes the weight over a larger surface area which eliminates that sinking feeling!
- With increased size and strength, comes more grip and a firmer footing - even on the sand and other softer surfaces.
